Lt. Gen. (R) Ali Kuli Khan Khattak
Director
Lt Gen (Retd) Ali Kuli Khan Khattak was educated at Aitchison College Lahore. He graduated from the Royal Military College Sandhurst and commissioned in the Pakistan Army in 1964. After a brilliant career spanning 37 years, Gen Ali retired from the Pakistan Army as its Chief of General Staff in 1998. General Ali holds a Masters Degree from the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.

Dr. Parvez Hassan
Director
He is a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He has got a doctorate in law from Harvard University and his Masters in law from Yale University. He is the Senior Partner of Hassan & Hassan (Advocates), Pakistan. He is the President of the Pakistan Environmental Law Association and also a member of the governing body of LUMS and other educational institutions. He has got the following international awards and honors:
Global 500 Roll of Honor by the United Nations Environment Program “in recognition of outstanding practical achievements in the protection and improvement of the environment” conferred in Stockholm, Sweden (1991).
Honorary Membership of IUCN – The World Conservation Union for “outstanding services to conservation of nature and natural resources” conferred at the IUCN – The World Conservation Congress in Amman, Jordan (2000).
Elizabeth Haub Prize (1998) in recognition as “one of the world leader in Environmental Law” awarded in Brussels (2000).
The 7th International Conference on Environmental Law in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2003, was held against the backdrop of “A Tribute to Parvez Hassan” and awarded a plaque “in recognition of his vision, leadership and commitment to a sustainable world”.
Wolfgang Burhenne Award for his contribution to environmental law, awarded at the IUCN – The World Conservation Congress in Barcelona, Spain (2008).

He is a law graduate. He has worked as GM (Marketing) – National Motors Limited. Subsequently, he also became the MD of Sind Engineering Limited. He also served Naya Daur Motors and Bela Engineering as CEO. At present he is advisor to the Chairman – Bibojee Group of Companies.

Maj. (R) Muhammad Zia
Director
Mr. Muhammad Zia is retired Major of Pakistan Army. He has a vast experience of Automobile Industry and currently also serving on the Board of Ghandhara Nissan Limited.
Shahid Kamal Khan
Independent Director
Air Commodore (Retd) Shahid Kamal Khan was born in Abbotabad, Pakistan in I948. He was commissioned as a fighter pilot in the PAF in 1966 and retired after having served for 32 years in various important operational, training and staff assignments. For his meritorious services, Air Cdre. Shahid was awarded both the Tamgha-e-Basalat and the Sitara-e-Basalat by the Government of Pakistan. He also achieved the rare distinction of attaining the coveted A1 Exceptional rating both as an Instructor and as a Combat Commander.
He is a graduate of the Royal Air Force Academy, Cranwell and has completed his Staff Studies from RAF Staff College, Bracknell, England. He is also a graduate of the Engineering and Systems Safety course conducted at the University of Southern California, USA.
Air Commodore Shahid Kamal Khan was assigned the responsibility of building Pakistan’s Second National Carrier, Shaheen Air International. As Managing Director, he put together a small team of professionals, created budgets, coordinated departments, established procedures, selected personnel, set up offices, supervised training, implemented national and international directives and laws, developed rules, regulations and work codes and was successful in making Shaheen Air a household name.
He left the airline to set up his own business in the field of energy and power generation. He developed and marketed what is now recognized as the world’s finest and most advanced dual fuel conversion system that enables diesel engine generators to run on natural gas. An avid technology buff, he continues to develop green products and processes that are aimed at improving the quality of life.
